Are you on top of your credit cards?

The most important one thing about credit cards is to keep track of their transactions. There are many of us who have 4, 5 or more credit cards and don’t spend enough time checking their transactions. Just because you can afford to pay the bill at the end of the month doesn’t mean that you should completely let your credit cards go
Not paying enough attention is the best way you can get yourself into trouble with credit card companies. You can miss a payment or worse you can have your identity stolen by someone only to find out when it is too late. I personally learned it the hard way when someone stole my credit card and started a business with it. At first, I couldn’t notice the fraudulent charges on my cards, but once I was charged $199 more at the end of a month, I knew there was something wrong. Someone had ordered a dedicated hosting service to expand their business, all using my credit card. I was lucky to have been with Chase as they helped me get my money back. But it could’ve simply been worse for me.
Being on the top of your credit cards shouldn’t take more than an hour or two a week, so there is no excuse for not doing it unless you are purposely looking to get in trouble with the credit card companies. Even the police recommend doing so.
