Advanta World Mastercard Business Credit Card Review

Filed Under (Credit Card Reviews) by creditblogger on 23-09-2008

You may have read our earlier post about the new Advanta World credit card for small businesses. The Advanta world card has replaced the life of balance credit card, which was one of the best balance transfer credit cards on the market

Advanta Business World Mastercard, is specifically designed to fit the needs of small businesses and startups alike. Unlike traditional Advanta offers, which were designed to provide the business owners with lucrative introductory offers, the Advanta World Card is specifically designed to provide the cardholder with the best set of rewards possible.

The Advanta Business World Mastercard allows you to earn 1 point for each dollar spent with the card. In addition, Advanta offers 50% bonus on the number of points earned to those who pay their bills on time. This is certainly a measure taken by Advanta to encourage holders to pay on time and avoid costly late fees.

The Advanta World Card does not come with any preset spending limit. What it means is that you don’t have to settle for a credit line of $3,000 if your credit score is close to $800. Advanta will offer limits to cardholders based on credit history, so it is necessary to have a good credit score in order to maximize your benefits with the Advanta World Card.

The Advanta Business World card offers unlimited points, so you can keep earning as you spend with your business card. You can redeem your points in cash or towards travel, gift certificates, or merchandise for your business. In addition, there is no annual fee and balance transfer fee for this card, so you can take advantage of all these rewards without having to pay a dime to Advanta upfront.

The Advanta World Mastercard does come with a high variable APR (16.99% at the time of this writing). So it is necessary to avoid parking large balances on your world card. If you are looking for a credit card to park large amounts, you may want to look at balance transfer credit cards but you certainly don’t want to use your World card for that purpose.

The World card is not for everyone. Advanta has specifically designed this card to meet the needs of small businesses and startups. Consumers are allowed to apply for this card, but it is recommended that you do not park large balances with this card due to this high variable APR. If you are a small business owner who is looking to save on your everyday purchases, you will want to check this brand new offer from Advanta. With all the rewards and incentives available through Advanta rewards program, the Advanta World can save your business a significant amount in the long run. On a side-note, the life of balance credit card was simply a giant of a card, and we don’t believe Advanta’s new products fill the gap left by that card. The Advanta World Mastercard is a wonderful new addition to the Advanta brand, but its focus is more on rewards and less on the lower fees.
